In this design-build project, CGA, in collaboration with Horsepower Electric, is spearheading the conversion of span-wire supported traffic signals across 15 intersections in Broward County. This crucial phase of the County’s conversion program involves a wide range of services: professional engineering, design, construction, plans preparation, field surveying, and utility coordination. The team is also responsible for permitting, public involvement, and coordination with adjoining projects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The project’s scope includes minor roadway reconstruction, paving, signing, pavement marking, and ADA compliant sidewalk reconstruction. Key technical aspects involve traffic signal construction, underground conduit installation, interconnect cabling, video detection monitoring, and vehicle pre-emption systems.
