The City of Deerfield Beach encompasses 16.3 sq. miles in Broward County, FL and is home to 75,000 residents. The City maintained an in-house building department until levels of service and budget constraints became a concern to City Officials, Residents, and Staff. When the City requested proposals CGA was the successful respondent and was awarded the contract in June 2015. Due to Union notifications restraints, CGA was directed to mobilize the day after the Commission\u2019s approval vote. Although one days\u2019 notice was not ideal for preparation and setup, CGA rose to the task and completed the successful turn-over to contract services. In a matter of just a month, we began receiving accommodation letters from City residents and local contractors.<\/p>\n

Since June 2015, CGA has acted as the City\u2019s total turn-key building code services provider including permit application and fee intake.
